Newcastle park playground destroyed by fire

An investigation has been started by police after a children's play area was destroyed by fire.
The playground, in Heaton Park, Newcastle, had only recently been refurbished thanks to community fundraising.
The area has now been cordoned off and parents said they were devastated about the damage.
